When Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that the Son of Man? And they said: Some John the Baptist, others Elijah, others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. He said to them: And who do you say I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah, because flesh and blood that revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven. (Mat 16:13-17 KJV)
Jesus gives us a very important revelation: Christ is revealed through the power of the Holy Spirit dealing directly with the spirit of man. It's very interesting to observe that these men were with Jesus for some time. They had already been used in healing and deliverance. But the revelation of who Christ is was only given by the Spirit. Neither flesh nor blood can do. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24 KJV)
Try as we might speak of Jesus to someone (and we have to do it) we can only work within the framework of soul and flesh. For there is a work that only the Spirit can do: to convince the man of sin (John 16.7-9).
See what Paul writes: Because of this, I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory, that be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell by faith in your heart, (Ephesians 3:14-17 KJV).
Paul preached Christ, but constant prayer was that He might dwell in the hearts of the people of Ephesus, but according to his own words, this would not happen until the Spirit of God to strengthen the spirit of man.
Hebrews 11:6 says: But without faith it is impossible to please him, because it is necessary that he who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6 KJV). Not to change the biblical sense the verse, I can tell by the Greek version of the word 'there' could be translated as 'is' and the King James version reinforces what I write. It could look like this: "Why is it necessary that everyone who comes to God must believe that He is." And what does that change?? That there are many people who joined the Christian faith and, despite being closer to Jesus, yet your spirit is revealed in the person of Christ, who He is. And He is the one who was to come (John 11:27).
In churches today the subject is not focused on the blessings and the Mystery of Christ in us (Col. 1:26-27 and 2.2). This kind of teaching makes the Christian vulnerable, because despite knowing in his human intelligence who Christ is, do not yet know in your mind. Becoming easy prey to the pitfalls and misleading attacks of the enemy. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness, and can not understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Cor 2:14 KJV)
The revelation of Christ is the chief cornerstone (1 Peter 2.6-8) where many well-meaning Christians are stumbling, the foundation (1 Cor 3.11) we need. And only the Holy Spirit can reveal.

It's true. Glory to God. Only God can know God. Only God in us through the Holy Spirit can reveal Jesus Christ. As Paul says: "No one knows God except the Spirit of God."
This truth has been forgotten by the arrogance of our self-merits today. Men redeemed and justified by faith, today seek spiritual empowerment through their own secular bible study, often through the pattern of theology today. Searching through the history and culture Semitic interpret what only God can reveal: the judgments of his heart (the word).
Congratulations for the post. I would like to have contact with his brother. God has said much about this tb. Embrace. The Peace of Jesus Christ.
